Frisco Freedom Fest (2:00PM)
Frisco Freedom Fest July 4, 2008 Pizza Hut Park The City of Frisco and Pizza Hut Park have teamed up for the second year in a row to present this spectacular July 4 th Celebration. Party on the Plaza at Frisco Square will feature the Taste of Frisco, a community stage with live music and a Children's Expo with plenty of activities such as face painters, jump houses and more starting at 4pm. Across the street at Pizza Hut Park, watch FC Dallas major league soccer in an exciting match, followed by a featured artist in concert. The night concludes with the largest fireworks show in the Metroplex, presented by the Zambelli Family, known as the "First Family of Fireworks". For more information go to www.friscofreedomfest.org

Project Linus Make A Blanket Day (10:00AM - 11:59PM)
Help Project Linus make blankets to comfort children in need at the Frisco Make A Blanket Day. Children are invited to come color a fabric square to be used in a quilt. Crafters, bring your sewing machine, knitting needles or crochet hooks - we supply everything else. No sewing experience required - there are plenty of ways children and non-sewers can make blankets too! We have fleece blankets to tie, fabric to cut, and Blanketeers willing to help you help Project Linus!
