Westin Stonebriar Resort Review |

We enjoy taking our kids to local hotels several times a year. This year they chose Westin Stonebriar Resort for their July 4th holiday. We called early in the morning to see if we could check in early and was told we could come in anytime. Besides a little hiccup with our credit card not processing, our greeting was quite nice from the hotel staff. Everyone was professional and courteous. The desk staff tried to get us a pool view but unfortunately the hotel was full so she gave us a great room with a balcony. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Luckily we had a break in the recent rain and thus took full advantage of the pool. They have great umbrellas in which the staff will put up for you if you find a seat you want and the umbrella isn't open. The kids had a blast with the pool and slide as well as the little minature golf next to the pool and ping pong table. There was a great DJ playing some music and doing little contests. My oldest won one of them and enjoyed a slurpy type drink as his prize. Overall, it was quite a little successful getaway. Even mom got a chance to take a little break while dad and the boys swam in the evening. They were even kind enough to bring me a light-up necklace that was given to the boys by one of the great staff members for July 4th celebration. We definitely will return again.
